If you’re a fan of floof, you’ll want to become better acquainted with Max, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. Max is an adult male German Shepherd mix from Dallas, Texas. He is already neutered and up to date with shots.
Meet Max, the handsome German Shepherd mix. Shortly after his rescue by Paws in the City, poor Max was diagnosed as heartworm positive. As it turns out, Max here is a fighter. He was determined to get better and we are happy to report that he’s been given a clean bill of health. You know what that means – it’s adoption time!
Now that he’s all better, we’re making up for lost time by giving Max lots of TLC while getting to know his ins and outs. Here’s what we do know: he likes other dogs and we have every reason to believe that he’d be great with kids (he did great on a recent play date with a toddler). He’s working on mastering his manners and learning to share his toys with his furry friends, but we’ve got a feeling about this one – he’s truly something special.
